GET TO KNOW YOUR SLATE: Secretary - Wavel Fraser

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." ― Margaret Mead

Wavel F. Fraser is an individual born and raised out of the quiet countryside of St. Julien Village, Princes Town. Being the vibrant person that she is, Wavel has always been fascinated with making a difference; not only in her society but any environment that she is a part of. Always having a desire to serve people since childhood, she felt that she could make significant impacts toward anything she put her mind to and this has shown in her accomplishments to date. She believes that change starts with one individual and can gradually spread to the numbers that come in contact with this individual. She has been able to positively motivate and encourage her fellow classmates and co-workers to perform better and is also able to be the glue that holds her extended family together.

Presently she is a second year student at COSTAATT, reading for the Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication. This is a field that she is passionate about, allowing her to learn diverse aspects of business. Wavel believes that being part of a dynamic group of young people with a kaleidoscope of ideas that allows them to brainstorm issues on what can be done to make COSTAATT a better school for its present students and the future ones to come is a phenomenal experience. Ideas are being thrown out on a daily basis and she is confident that accepting the position of Secretary within the Working Academic Reformation (W.A.R) would not go in vain. The best has been chosen to represent the needs of each student's concern and it is guaranteed that the team members of Working Academic Reformation (W.A.R) would not be one of talk, but one of comprehensive action.

"Being a strong believer of less talk more action, I am confident that being installed as Secretary within a dynamic body of students who are aiming for change is phenomenal. A dedication to work and to assistance of fellow students with their concerns and needs are of utmost importance. Giving hands on assistance and eagerly ready to document and forward burning issues to be resolved by my fellow teammates and myself is the order of the day. This Secretary is about being present, at the forefront and making sure all students get the assistance needed to make their study life less stressful." -- Wavel Fraser
