GET TO KNOW YOUR SLATE: Earl AJ Edmund - Treasurer

Born August 12th 1990, Earl AJ Edmund is a face of change. Never a star on the football or cricket field, Earl was a star on the academic field. He served on the Student Council for two consecutive years; he was selected as a School Prefect, attaining the rank of Head Male Prefect in his final year; he was the co-captain of the Social Studies Society, where he led the team to victory twice in the Caribbean Union Conference “Know Your Caribbean Quiz.” He is also a five time Honor Roll student, capturing the Principal’s Award in 2006. He is now a Mass Communications student at COSTAATT.

Currently employed at Antilles Employees’ Credit Union as a Member Services Officer assigned to the Youth Development Programme, he encourages youth within the affiliated schools and community to save and to understand thrift.

GET TO KNOW YOUR SLATE: Anika Ganga - Assistant Secretary

Ever since her childhood, Anika Ganga has been encouraged by her parents to exert her full potential; which throughout her growing years, has been her motivation for success. Her main goal is to be the best that she can be while surrounding herself with good people who will support her strongly. Anika enjoys reading; which satisfies her thirst for knowledge. However, her passion lies in writing, because it gives her the opportunity to create new worlds which she can share with others. Her greatest ambition is to become a world- renowned author while being a part of the fascinating world of Journalism. Although she is strong willed and determined she also believes that we should always try to stand out in everything we do.  In her opinion, it is perfectly fine to be different and she embraces her weird, artistic and fun personality quite freely.

GET TO KNOW YOUR SLATE: Evening Vice-President - Alette Liz Williams

Alette Liz Williams is a 4th year Mass Communication student who hails from Princes Town. She transferred from IT (Operating Systems Management) because she believes that people are her passion.  She has always been grounded in customer service and believes in serving and service, having been in the profession of customer service for just about 8 years. Alette is currently employed in the Judiciary as a Court Customer Service Representative, attached to the Court Protocol and Information Unit.

GET TO KNOW YOUR SLATE: Secretary - Wavel Fraser

Wavel F. Fraser is an individual born and raised out of the quiet countryside of St. Julien Village, Princes Town. Being the vibrant person that she is, Wavel has always been fascinated with making a difference; not only in her society but any environment that she is a part of. Always having a desire to serve people since childhood, she felt that she could make significant impacts toward anything she put her mind to and this has shown in her accomplishments to date. She believes that change starts with one individual and can gradually spread to the numbers that come in contact with this individual. She has been able to positively motivate and encourage her fellow classmates and co-workers to perform better and is also able to be the glue that holds her extended family together.

GET TO KNOW YOUR SLATE: President - Nicholas Lutchmansingh

Nicholas Jonathan Lutchmansingh, or “Nick" as he is popularly known, is a third year student at COSTAATT south campus where he is currently pursuing his BA in Mass Communication. He is a great believer in the adage "whatever you put your mind to you can achieve." Nick has pursued his degree with determination and enthusiasm from day one as with everything else he does. Known as the 'Go to Guy,’ he is well respected and admired among his peers and by those who have had the pleasure to work alongside him.

In 2012, Nick formed part of the COSTAATT's South Campus Debate Team which took first place in the inter campus debate. Nick also brought his zeal and passion when he volunteered at the International Press Institute Congress of 2012, representing COSTAATT South Campus.

Welcome, WARrior

We are W.A.R.: the Working Academic Reformation, and we want to evolve YOUR student experience. We are aiming to be your COSTAATT South Campus Student Council Elects for 2013.


Together, we are the student WAR.my: a band of COSTAATT students with big dreams, big ideas and the world of possibilities at our feet. We are WARriors.


W.A.R. is not a slate that encourages negativity. As today’s youth, we try to be positive role models for tomorrow’s youth. We are a group of hardworking, friendly, open-minded, accepting, empathetic, positive people. We believe in positivity, inclusion, equality and upward movement. In a nutshell, we believe in CHANGE


We will not smear any other party or individual with harsh words or untruths. 

We encourage feedback, student support and inclusion. 


We believe that, as the W.A.R.my, if we show that basic amenities are being changed then we would foster a greater school spirit.
